Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor. We reserve a number of appointments with each doctor each day for urgent matters, which must and will be given priority.
The practice works on 15 minute appointments. Longer consultations are available if necessary and time permits, so please tell our receptionist when making an appointment if you think you may require extra time.
Our Doctors try to run on schedule and not keep patients waiting, however, sometimes delays are unavoidable and we appreciate your patience when this occurs. If you have time restrictions, please phone ahead to check on probable waiting times.
Please be aware that our Doctors are required to be ON-CALL for emergencies at the Hospital on a rostered basis. This may affect your consultation and/or waiting time. We appreciate your respect and patience during a medical emergency.
We have a Practice Nurse available Monday to Friday for wound care, vaccinations, childhood immunisations, cervical screening, ECG’s, INR management, medical observations and acute triage, spirometry, chronic disease management and Health Assessments.

Payment is required at the time of consultation.
No accounts will be given.
Eftpos facilities are available and we also accept cheque, Mastercard, Visa and cash.

A VALID CARD MUST BE PRESENTED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR BULK-BILLING AND/OR CONCESSION FEES.
Medicare rebates are processed immediately and directly through Tyro for patient convenience.
Please notify the surgery as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment. Failure to do so may result in a $20 late cancellation/non-attendance fee, which is not refunded by Medicare.
Continual referrals can only be requested during consultation with your doctor. All referrals must be written BEFORE you see the specialist. It is illegal for any doctor to write a referral AFTER the specialist has seen you.
All results are processed/actioned by the treating Doctor. We recommend that our patients make a follow up appointment with their Doctor. Alternatively, you may be contact by our Practice Nurse who will advise you of the Doctor’s comment and if a follow up appointment is required. It is advisable to call the Practice after 2pm to allow for urgent calls to be attended to in the mornings.
Should you require a repeat script you will need to attend a script-only appointment. Under certain circumstances, there may be a script fee if you are unable to attend the practice.
